I've also seen so so many misconceptions of SP2 on this page and other parts of the PDB community that it is bothering me. First of all, Zoey has barely any screentime, so no, this argument will be far from perfect and will not cover every single trait of SP2 that Zoey harbors. And yes, I will overanalyze details just due to the nature of the film not being very long. The main argument that Zoey is not SP2 is that she is primarily driven by a desire to fit in, not out of a hidden belief that she is more privileged and seeks to be nurtured more than others. Some (not all) of the arguments are due to misunderstandings of SP2. SP2s are not actively entitled. It's oftentimes the opposite. They are described to be shy, tender, and people-pleasing. Do they still have pride? Of course they do. But it can be hard to tell. So basically, in summary, I believe she is primarily driven by the need for security through affection and love and belonging (so she doesn’t face the world alone / is abandoned) than forgetting her own identity, personality, and emotions by assimilating with society and adopting the culture and traits of others to not be in touch with herself. She has a main fear of abandonment and not being loved. This behavior can be seen in how Han describes her tendency to please people, her singing on Golden about “playing both sides”, which I interpret as her wanting to be loved by doing acts of service and pleasing people, but ultimately not feeling like she fits in. What I see Zoey’s behavior is that she feels like she cannot function without the validation and love of other people. She then tries to compensate for this by flattering and pleasing her friends, checking in on them to see if they are doing well, not being too much of a burden, forming alliances and depending on others for safety and stability
