And he holds himself to just as high standards as anyone else, too. This is obvious enough, but consider his whole "I promised I'd work myself to death before the age of 35!" (quoted, but not necessarily word per word.) lament. This is a guy who absolutely expects the very best. He'll respect you if you provide it, an he'll be enraged if you don't, and even more so if you interfere with his attempts to fulfill that ideal (the 9 wing showing).
