To me, lb is defff sp2 I think ppl r mistaking another sp2 character for sx7, which is rlly common. Here’s why… Lightbulb is NOT a head triad: Lightbulb does not default to intellectualism at all. She does not value or use mental strategies. This is especially noticeable when compared to testtube and fan, who are E5 according to pdb (i havent rlly formed an opinion on whether this is right or not but it seems rlly plausible -- Im confident both r at least head triads). In s2 ep 12, she literally makes a point to go against the mental strategies used by Testtube and demonstrates that she values spontaneity over preparedness, which points to her not being a head type and especially not E7. She also is clearly not driven by fear?? Again, no preparedness throughout the show. Lightbulb is DEFINITELY a heart/image triad: Throughout the show, all of lightbulb’s arcs relate to two key points: interpersonal relationships (e.g. early s2 interactions with painty, s2 ep 10 + 12) and identity (e.g. s2 ep 15, s4 with her blueness or wtv, 2025 bfdi x ii meetup special). The heart triad’s focus is also on interpersonal relationships and identity. And, lightbulb’s biggest fear throughout the show is shame -- either by being a bad team captain or disappointing her friends. This is noticeable throughout the show, like in season 12 ep 15 when she feels pressured to “win it for” her allies. But its clearest in the ii x bfdi 2022 meet up special, when she tells herself “c’mon girl, you’re blowing this” and pressures herself to be approved by the BFDI cast. So, based on this, she cannot be E7 because she can’t be a head type and it’s pretty obvious she isn't a gut type cause why would she be?? She can only really be 2, 3, or 4. Out of these, it’s most likely she’s an E2. Why E2: E2’s central desire is to be needed. They crave connections and for those connections to value what they do for them. Paired with a 3 wing, it can especially look like a desire to be admired by their service to others in a leadership role. This is literally lightbulb because her character centers around wanting to be valued as a team leader, being seen as responsible and reliable. Why not E7: If you take her character at face value, she’s bubbly, optimistic, airheaded, and adventurous. But enneagram isn’t about observed behaviour. Instead, it’s about core motivation and fear. If you look at episodes that actually show lightbulb at her most vulnerable like s2ep15, or her inner thoughts like the 2022 bfdi x ii special, you’ll notice her core motivation is not pleasure or freedom. It’s actually admiration and connection, which would align with an E2 and especially a 2w3. Also, I think one big thing people confuse about E7 and E2 is whether a character values being happy themselves, or making others happy (which is what lightbulb does). People often assume bubbly characters value being happy themselves, when they often focus on making others happy, and their own joy is just an extension of that (the biggest example of this on pdb is probably the mistyping of pinkypie). So, SX7 often gets confused with SP2 because of this similarity
