What personality type is Lightbulb? Lightbulb is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sx/so - 792 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
I don’t think anybody could ever doubt that she’s Ne dom, but I will explain her Fi. The introverted feeling function is characterized by a strong sense of beliefs, and usually can’t be observed unless someone messes with those beliefs. An example of this is in Season 2 Episode 2, when Paintbrush assumed that Test Tube was good at science because she is a test tube. Lightbulb was insistent upon the idea that they were wrong in assuming things about others’ appearances. She tells Paintbrush that they shouldn’t think that Test Tube will be able to build a rocket just because test tubes are science related. She even goes as far as to call Paintbrush “prejudiced”. It’s only after Test Tube does eventually build the rocket that Lightbulb drops the topic. But then later, in season 2 episode 4, she brings this up again with Paintbrush. Even though Paintbrush’s assumptions about others based on their objections are usually correct, the assumption shouldn’t have been made in the first place. This directly clashes with Paintbrush’s view of things. Paintbrush was not intending to hurt people, they were just going what they thought was logical, what made sense to them. Despite these facts, Lightbulb keeps her beliefs in tact, and she’s always defending them until the subject is changed. This is a quality that Introverted Feelers have. They will stick up for what they think is right. Another quality introverted feelers have is emotional empathy. When Paintbrush tells her that they are option c, or nonbinary, Lightbulb uses baxter as a way to make them feel better. Making this connection about the crab was her way of showing Paintbrush that she understands why they feel the way that they do. It’s in her nature to try and be there for others, which I’d say is definitely a Fi quality. (I hope all this was coherent because I typed this up on a whim lol)
