Jane is honest, but displays turbulence common in 4w5's like myself. When Emma is rude to her, (in the 2020 film) her eyes show that she is aware of Emma's passive aggression. Instead of calling it out, she quietly leads by example of good manners and pacifism. When she is about to leave, only then does she tell Emma she is exhausted by her... and yet, she doesn't say *directly that it is Emma's fault, but emotionally implies it with her eyes and the known fact between them. Earlier when Jane was playing piano, she chose a dark and strong sounding piece to play from memory after Emma scoffed at her for "forgetting" her music. Jane had felt emotionally attacked, but held her civil demeanor while still greatly expressing her own mistreatment.
