What personality type is Himeko? Himeko is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 721 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
⋆✦⋆ "Trailblazing means that every step we take is a step closer to the stars" ⋆✦⋆ A short comment on why I believe that the current content gives us more reason to type Himeko 7 than 2. Let's start off easy. e2 is a Heart type. These types are focused on the emotion of Shame, they are concerned with their identity, gaining love, and their image. e7 on the other hand is a Head type. These types are focused on the emotion of Fear, they are concerned with finding ways to face & cope with the world. This aside, there also remains the Vices. Pride for the 2, and Gluttony for the 7. I think we have so far been given more content to argue in favour of Gluttony than Pride. Here is a reminder of what Gluttony is : "Ennea-type VII individuals, are more than just open minded, exploratory: their search for experience takes them, characteristically, from an insufficient here to a promising there. [...] the gluttony of the glutton is typically not for the common, but, on the contrary, for that which is most remarkable, for the extraordinary. In line with this is the characteristic interest in what is magical or esoteric itself, a manifestation of a broader interest in what is remote-either geographically, culturally, or at the fringes of knowledge." Now, let's hear out Himeko herself just for a bit "There are endless possibilities and unknowns among the stars. Our journey is the process of pulling apart the threads of possibility to seek the final truth." "The Express doesn't have a clear destination because every passengers destination is unique. I'm sure we're about to embark on a fascinating journey together" Out of all the Vices, I believe Gluttony is the one we have the best case to argue for with the limited Himeko content we have given. Already, Himeko has made it clear that she is someone who travels for the sake of discovery. Discovering the truth, discovering new worlds, discovering new possibilities, discovering new knowledge, and multiplicating the fascinating experiences. She appears to have found "the truth" she was personally seeking, and yet she is still right here at the helm, still looking for something *more*. All of this is very fitting of a potential e7, who tends to focus on the search and is rarely satisfied in spite of their apparent enthusiasm. Searching for a "promising there", for the remarkable and the extraordinary seems like an apt descriptor for Himeko : she isn't solely invested in the Astral Express for the very concrete opportunities it brings; but most of all because of the mystery that comes with it, with the idea of following in Akilivi's footsteps and discovering hidden truths and maybe one final extraordinary answer to the universe's questions. As for the Head & Fear part of the e7 : I feel like most of the advice and comfort Himeko offers tends to fall in that realm. She seems to naturally focus on helping other to find ways to face the world and live their lives to the fullest, to find the courage to face the unknown & its dangers and yet live on without regret. Biography
An adventurous scientist who encountered the Astral Express as a child when it got stranded in her home world. At that time, some existence in the Express revealed to this young girl a whole world outside of her own — the universe. Years later, Himeko finally repaired the train and began her journey to the stars, but she realized that this was only the beginning. On the Trailblaze path, she would need many more companions... Even though such companions may have different destinations in mind, they all gaze at the same starry sky.
