What personality type is Ken Carson? Ken Carson is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, - sx/so - 793 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
I can see how after seeing just that interview you'd think he's an ESFP. But after seeing more content made around him, and even just analyzing his music it becomes VERY clear that he's an ENTP. TLDR: even if he gives off an ESFPish vibe, his cognitive functions say otherwise Why Ne>Se? My biggest argument for this is his musical style. Ken has always prioritized putting out music through an experimental/new-blood lens rather than making something proven that sounds good (as most Se dom musicians do). And not only that, but that authentic experimental vibe isn't *entirely* or almost entirely new like Ni or Fi musicians do but all of his music takes huge inspirations from other artists and styles, making something new out of old stuff, kind of like a ship of theseus, which is very much Ne-Si like. Second of all: Ti>Fi. This might be the weakest point since Ken is pretty authentic and seems to do Fi things quite good. But I've concluded that Fi isn't what he has, mostly because I can't see Te at all and because I can totally see Fe. Something that might help here is the process of how he speaks, it's all pretty holistic and rational instead of "pure", so to speak. Another thing I noticed is that he has a harder time answering questions about his tastes and what he likes compared to Lone, whose Fi is pretty damn obvious (I do support Fi dom Lone). Not knowing too much about what you like but instead having a "general vibe" of it is totally a Ne-Fe thing, which I'm sure Ken is. Fe is a very strong and thus obvious function in teen X. However it's pretty unhealthy. You can tell that because of his unhealthy Fe tert he sees criticism and becomes anxious because of it, this is obvious to spot because of him looking better and better after he got criticism for being a fatass on that one interview. Mans literally looksmaxxed. That doesn't seem Fi at all to me, because Fi users want to stay true to themselves and their values & aren't very receptive to criticism (as in it's hard for them to digest). Ti-Fe makes sense on boy barbie because he is receptive to criticism (regular Fe), processes it (Ti), and then molds himself to better fit in (unhealthy Fe). Fe>Te isn't even an argument, Ken just has zero Te at all; just watching him once, listening to his music (very unstructured and experimental as said earlier) or even just paying attention to his work ethic (pretty bad, though not as bad as Carti's for example) you can just know he has no Te at all. For inf Si I can only make the same argument I made for Ne, his very ship of theseus way of creating music that sounds new and fresh. This is Ne-Si in its purest expression. I don't really see why he'd have Ni inf instead here.
