Yeah, I definitely think she’s an ENFP now. The arguments on this page have been a lot of back and forth of “no she isn’t, and yes she is” with some occasional analyses. And as convincing as the ESFP arguments are, her cognitive process is Ne-Te, and by that I mean her thought and speech patterns are all over the place and not very grounded (Se). She’s not focused on the present when she’s laying out her thoughts. They seem very up in the air, which of course you’d expect from a Ne dom since they function through an abstract lens. The interviewers will ask her a question, and she’ll spend her time connecting different outside patterns to it. As a reader, it can seem sort of hazy, like you finish reading her answers and then you think “wait, what was the question again??” I’ll break down her transitions to show you what I mean, then break down and compare it to what Se-Te speech and thought patterns look like. As of now, and in the past, I’ve just never really felt like I wanted to follow anything.” First, it’s how she’s cursed, then it’s about her album, then her appreciation for consistency, then she ties it back to her own personal taste in music + consistency again, then how she makes music compared to that, then about her being bored, then about how she wants to create music in the future, but also how she made music in the past?… honestly…what was the question again... It’s a very abstract thought pattern. She jumps from subject to subject to try to find outside patterns that connect back to the question, it can be very messy, but in her mind it makes perfect sense. Now let’s look at someone who I believe is an ESFP for comparison: Florence Pugh QUESTION: How was it establishing that relationship with Scarlett Johansson? FLORENCE: (1📍) It’s been wicked! At the beginning, obviously, Cate really wanted us and all the Widows in the film to understand where we’ve come from, maybe understand our body language, how we’d walk, how we’d talk without being affected by any of the normal world. (2📍) Obviously, a massive part of that is the fact that both Natasha and Yelena were broken up when they were children and grew up to live different lives. To look at what that would do to their relationship and what that would do when they see each other again years later, we had to figure out if we would have similarities, if we would talk in the same way, if we found it being comfortable around one another. (3📍) These are people that have been torn apart and probably only have a few memories of one another. (4📍) Scarlett has been the leading force of the female face of these films for ten years or more. And from the get-go she’s played a character that takes no garbage, can fight anything, and is just as compatible as any of the men who have all the digits. That’s a cool badge to wear. First Florence starts off by talking about the process of understanding the characters, she continues to talk about the characters and how they were developed, she continues to talk about the characters, then she ties it all back to Scarlett and Scarlett’s character. This is Se-Te cognitive process. It’s very easy to follow because she stays focused on the topic at hand. The transitions are still consistent to the question, even the segues are very focused on what she’s being asked, and only what she’s being asked. She’s not looking for outside patterns to connect her train of thought, there’s not abstraction in her speech pattern.
