Robin Arellano MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Robin Arellano? Robin Arellano is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - so/sp - 872 in Enneagram, SCUAN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.

I just watched the movie for the second time and I absolutely adore him. Okay, so let's get into this. ENFJ: At first glance I thought he might be an XSTP, you know, but when you look past the stereotypes and take an actual look at his functions, in my opinion it's very clear that he has dominant fe. When he's beating the bully up, for example - his whole point was about pleasing the proud. Making a statement in front of the crowd. He knew instinctually what he needed to do to make a certain impression on the watching people, to make an impression on the bully. He explained it in detail to Finney. Same with the bullys in the restroom scene. I think with an ESTP or an ISTP, this tough "I don't give a **** about anything", "don't **** with me" demeanor would actually be authentic, because of inferior/tert fe. But I think with Robin, it's pretty clear that's it's all just a facade more or less. Because when he talks with Finney, he's suddenly totally changed. I mean, of course it has something to do with how they're friends, but it's still very apparent how he let's the whole "tough guy" demeanor down. His whole posture suddenly gets relaxed and very casual. So yeah, fe's ability to make up a certain demeanor to influence the people around them. He's se is apparent of course too, works well together with his fe at all points. But his ni, even a bit hidden due to his tough persona, is visible too, especially in the scene when he and Finney are talking on the phone. Already planning ahead, making necessary preparations, focusing on one goal. The other ghosts didn't do that. Sure, they had no personal connection either, unlike Robin and Finney had, but it's also noticeable how Robin uses his fe + ni to prepare Finney emotionally. "do it for me, escape for me, you're getting out of here". I must admit that my only argument for inferior ti is that he's bad at math lol, but yeah, I think it's safe to say that he's ENFJ. 8w9: Okay let's see. Robin's whole character introduction shows that his whole goal is asserting dominance. We see it in his first scene, we see it in the restroom scene. It's all about showing dominance. It's all about showing the crowd that he's dominant, that he's tough. I literally have no clue on why'd someone think he's a 7, like, where?? His 9 wing is also very apparent. Kicking the bullies, protecting the weak, taking care of Finney, not leaving a friend behind, etc. So yeah, I think he's 8w9. I'm open to different opinions though! :)
