I'll try to do as much digging as I can on this beautiful man and come back later with a full write-up. obviously he's very reclusive, but it does seem from his single interview that he is driven by his own very succinct personal reasons (Ti). His distinct style of humor is also extremely Ne. He really likes to use well-worn setups that take you in one direction, and then he'll hit you with something that's at least two steps removed from what you thought the twist was going to be. what David mirkin referred to as the "screw the audience jokes". for example: in the cartridge family, Homer buys a gun and wants it immediately 'because he's mad now' but is told he'll have to wait three days for it. there's a montage of him waiting on his front lawn while multiple things go by that he would've wanted to shoot. once it's finally the day he can pick up his gun, he's banging on the door of the gun shop before they're even open, and once the owner opens the door, he immediately runs in, passes the counter, and goes straight to the bathroom. another one of my favorite jokes of his that's extremely Ne is when the kids are on the set of a movie and ask why the prop guys are painting cow patterns on horses: “Cows don’t look like cows on film, you gotta use horses.” “What do you do if you want something that looks like a horse?” “Eh, usually we just tape a bunch of cats together.”
