Wes Craven MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Wes Craven? Wes Craven is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - so/sp - 648 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.

Will come back to this later, but I want to explain why I'm skeptical of Ne. 1.) Scream is his most Ne film, but it wasn't written by him. This means it is possible the Ne elements came from the writer and not him. I bring this up because I can see people pointing to Scream as proof of him being Ne, but the reality isn't so simple. 2.) A lot of his early is heavy Se. It could be argued that this was to make a name for himself, but I still think this is worth noting because it would have been the time where he had most control because of the lack of studio interest. Regardless, he was clearly comfortable with Se early on, and seems to have toned it down in later films. 3.) Freddy might be an ENTP in the middle films. In fact, I'd guess he probably is. That being said, he's either an ESTP or an ENTP with very lite Ne in the first film. He's almost definitely an ESTP in New Nightmare. He may even be an ISTP in that film. 4.) My point above is that the character Freddy (and films as a whole) became much more Ne after Wes Craven became increasingly less involved. 5.) With one notable exception, I don't think Craven pulls much from his own experience. He mostly pulls from big stories (similar to arthur conan doyle once did), and his understanding of the archetypes of horror films. In a way, he embodies these tropes and then does them better than anyone else. 6.) New Nightmare is by his most intuitive film, but considering how much it can be seen as a natural progression of his original dream killer idea, I think this is just Ni progressing a single idea over years.
