What personality type is Seamus Heaney? Seamus Heaney is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - - 145 in Enneagram, in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
I've read everything he's ever written. Heaney was a hard INFJ. No INFP on the planet could have penned the collection North, for example, the product of Ni. It is the hallmark of the INFJ writer to refract the present through the past, using Ni to create a timeless and universal distillation of the present moment. This was Heaney through and through, who despite the Troubles in the North, would not be drawn to confront them directly, but instead, sought metaphors to create universalities. I might also point out that Heaney in his personal life behaved like a thoroughgoing INFJ, humble and self-effacing, avoidant of the spotlight.
