What personality type is Mark Manson? Mark Manson is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - - 738 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
Mark is an excellent example of a mature ENTP. In his book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, Mark uses well-developed Ne-Ti to examine societal expectations and common knowledge about "being happy." The book is written in a refreshingly unconventional manner (Ne), highlighting powerful truths about happiness with humor and a healthy amount of sarcasm (Fe). Having listened to him on a Lewis Howes' "The School of Greatness" podcast (ep: Dream Less, Do More, and Create Real Happiness with Mark Manson) I've also noticed that much of Mark's incentive for writing the book came from his own negative experiences and his personal journey to heal from them (Si). He opened up a bit to Lewis as well, getting emotional and diving into the pain he experienced and how the trauma of his childhood divorce impacted his perception of reality, love, and happiness. I was genuinely inspired by his vulnerability and I think it exemplifies that any type, regardless of cognitive functions or infrastructure, can learn to be authentic and vulnerable with others. I believe that most high Ne users would benefit from his story as well, as he talks a lot about his childhood idealism and scatterbrained-ness and how he learned to better channel his creativity by finding a schedule that made him feel good whilst not getting him overwhelmed. Ultimately, I think much of Mark's success originates from his ability to apply his Inferior Si in a healthy way, and build upon his Fe child, something which I myself admire and wish to achieve. Overall, great guy, great book, and someone who I think is a worthy example of what happens when an ENTP spends time developing themselves in a mature, focused, and healthy manner.

Mark Manson is a self-help author, personal development consultant, entrepreneur, and blogger. He blogs under his own name at an eponymous website, and as of 2019 had authored three books, the First book being Models: Attract Women Through Honesty, The 2nd book is The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life which rose to number six on The New York Times bestseller list. His latest book is called Everything Is F*cked: a Book About Hope.
