They look at things in terms of how they can exert control over them, and they don't allow themselves to be surprised by life." seojin is so obsessed with winning, that is the whole point of her character, what greed for success and victory can do to someone and the things that they can do as a result of it. she views others as either obstacles, things that get in the way of her being the best, or as pawns that she can use in order to get to the top. her whole core motive is that she HAS to be better than yoonhee, more talented, more successful, more recognized. she was jealous of yoonhee and saw her as a threat, even killed her so that she could remain on top. this is very social 3 instead of self preservation which is mostly focused around security, and her fear isn't that yoonhee would be more secure than her, her fear is that yoonhee would be recognized as the best and she won't be.
