Joo Seok-hoon MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Joo Seok-hoon? Joo Seok-hoon is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 964 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.

Seokhoon is most likely an INTJ. He observes information, connects the dots in his mind, and reaches conclusions much faster than the other characters in the show. He’s able to find the patterns and figure out what’s happening pretty quickly (Dantae and Seojin having some part in Seola’s death and the affair, knowing Eunbyeol knows the truth behind Rona’s death, etc.) Comparing him to Suryeon, they both slowly observe their environment, then think about what’s the best strategy to move forward from that point on. Their plan in season 3 to end Dantae and Seojin’s reign is proof of that, especially knowing how much Seokhoon hates his abusive father, he’s able to fake it for the sake of seeing Dantae’s downfall. He’s also most likely on the Te/Fi axis. Seokhoon gathers up factual evidence and proof of the things happening around Hera Palace and the school. He’s very objective and seeks the truth about what’s happening between Dantae and Seojin, who framed Rona for all the wrongdoings she didn’t do, how Seokkyung gets perfect scores, and more through his own eyes. Even the things he says is very straight-forward and direct without regard for anyone’s emotions, such as when he had to tell Eunbyeol he didn’t like her (“I’ll tell you my answer now, I don’t like you.”) or when Rona “died” and he threatened the guy who touched the flowers on her table. He straight up storms in Eunbyeol’s place and demands the truth about Rona. He doesn’t seem to care about the social environment around him or uphold to social customs, like an Fe/Ti user would be. Seokhoon’s inferior Se makes sense too, since, again, he mirrors Seokkyung completely. When Seokkyung snuck off to Japan to see Dantae off of pure recklessness and impulse, Seokhoon couldn’t comprehend why she had been so reckless and gone there without fear. Because Seokhoon prioritizes strategizing and planning, connecting all the dots, Seokkyung’s impatient and impulsive decisions make zero sense to him. One of my favorite scenes from the horrendous finale was when Seokhoon was wondering who sent those blue roses to Rona, although he doesn’t remember Suryeon liked them (demon Si), he immediately tries to find the symbolism and meaning behind the roses instead (“What’s the meaning of a blue rose?” / “A miracle.”) So yeah, INTJ it is for me.
