She’s an INFJ — a very healthy one. Chilli leads with Ni, so she isn’t reactive. She also doesn’t give Bluey direct advice; instead, she gives lessons that will matter in the future. You can really see her Ni depth and Fe empathy in Onesies, when she talks about her sister and the baby loss. She handles it quietly, not dramatic reactions. And talks it with anyone with in deep words. When she needed that 20-minute time off, that was her inferior Se showing. INFJs withdraw when they’re overwhelmed so they can regulate themselves. The scene where they were preparing to meet Judo and Wendy shows this too. She says, “That’s it. We’re staying here,” then sits down with a book. She was clearly mad, but still composed. She flips the pages a little too hard, releasing her pent-up frustration, then stands up and calmly asks Bluey why she was taking too long. That’s Ni–Fe control even when she’s stressed. And the part where she says she doesn’t know how to relax — I realized it’s not because she can’t be without her kids. It’s because she’s so used to thinking and being surrounded by chaos that when she’s finally alone, she doesn’t know how to just relax. That’s Ni constantly running. Relaxing requires Se — being present without overthinking. So when Bandit shows her an example; she watches her kids just go with it, she applies that lesson herself. When she goes back to the deck and finally relaxes, that’s a healthy INFJ stepping into Se balance. I guess watching more of episodes in Bluey, made me realized she has more patterns of an INFJ than an ESFJ. I thought she was an ESFJ at first because of the “dunny” and “toilet” part but she wasn’t enforcing it as a social or traditional rule, but expressing it for personal reasons.
Biography
After having the kids, Chili’s recently gone back to her job working at Airport Security and juggles this with raising her two little kids. Mum often has a wry comment about the kids' antics or a kind word for an overwrought child, but she’s equally at home throwing herself into a game and always able to see the funny side.
