What personality type is Jacket? Jacket is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 964 in Enneagram, RLUEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭: 𝐒𝐏𝟗 𝐒𝐋𝐈 𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 >I will have to go against ESFP and generally Se here for many reasons, since it was confused for the MBTI stereotype of it. I will avoid the PAYDAY 2 version of jacket here considering hes way more vague there. -Getting a proper psychological understanding of Jacket is not easy, his character wasnt exactly set up for something that deep to analyze, so him basically just being the *thing* you fight as, but we have some details which we can go off of to clear up his personality. 1. Laziness and unhealthy coping mechanisms. -Jacket is honestly way too easy going for a Se dom. He lives in his own space of comfort obviously having a hard time moving away from it or changing. Examples of this: not cleaning, cooking, keeping a consistent routine, smoking, and even murder. This correlates very well to the general Si and SP9 description: >"Laziness here manifests ironically, it is a substitution of nonessential satisfactions for those that he really needs. Often you can see an E9 immersing themselves in activities just to narcotize, activities such as eating, sleeping, playing games, sports, reading etc." >"The SLI adores comfort and convenience. When doing things with others, they arrange things to go smoothly and unobtrusively, which is convenient for them." -The only reason why Jacket even murders people is to avenge his friend Beard, having a dislike towards russians and people argued this for Fi but I dont really agree. I think if he really was an Fi dom, he would have expressed it more, Jacket more then likely never would have signed up for 50 blessings if it wasnt for beard dying, and its not like he has any strong belief's, preferences etc, excluding the dislike of Russians, again stays in this comfort zone, really only going out due to his care for Beard. Even if Richard does try to warn him about the consequences of these murders, he clearly has that neglect of Ni, the future and what can happen later more then likely doesnt quite calm him down or anything, the moment and the comfort of that situation comes first, really 1F-ish. >"You have no confidence in your emotions and thoughts. You do not believe that what you feel, think, or want is fair, and following your impulses without the approval of the world can be dangerous." -About logic, I decided to type him as 4L, even if yes, SLI does value Te and demo Ti, I cant say its all that obvious at first and I mean a SEI SX9 jacket would be weird. >"Skeptical of slogans and boisterous appeals, prefers to go by common sense. Stubborn and uncompromising in that which he considers to be correct. Though he is distrustful of new ideas, after testing them in practice is able to extract benefit from them." -As for 4L jacket clearly doesnt really care about "useless" details, information etc to him what works and what is common sense he will work with it, not really having the need to dive in further in what can be already provided. He doesnt exactly question the motives of 5o blessings until somewhere near the end, keeping himself on this surface level on what can be worked around with, if it means to load up a gun to get rid of a burden which is his friends death, no question job done. >Okay, Ill end it here since this guy is hella hard to type and finding examples is worse, but his will isnt good enough to be Se dom or even Fi dom, simply: Based SLI E9
