What personality type is Biker? Biker is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sp/sx - 783 in Enneagram, in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Se = Got into the whole 50 blessings thing out of boredom, for the thrill of it. Ti = Unlike Jacket who doesn't show much Ti at all, he shows an affinity for electronics and computers, with expertise in a wide array of fields (from music producing equipment to hacking) Fe = Generally more sociable and comfortable with groups of people than Jacket, throws parties regularly. Attempts to engage in conversation even during the job and will spare people if they can give him useful information (as he does with Charlie/The Technician), but wont refuse to kill if someone gets in his way, suggesting it's a minor function. Ni = Has a hunch in the canon ending where he figures out the truth, correctly guesses that the pieces of the puzzle that Jacket collects are the password to the computer. I like to see it as Jacket having the pieces of the puzzle but Biker being the one who figures out how they go together when he takes them from him (Biker is implied to be the victor during that night, despite not actually killing each other like they both think). The fact it's inferior suggests it was enough to get the general image but not enough to figure out the details and do something about it (as he is a barely coherent mess by the time of HL2 who remembers about half of what he saw, if you take that as canon), so he leaves Miami and goes into hiding. --- As for his Big 5: S - he seems to be pretty sociable in general. L - I was a bit torn apart on this one. On one hand, he is a gruesome serial killer, on the other hand, he is also one of the most calm and collected members of Fifty Blessings, he only really ever loses his cool when he's about to be killed by Jacket (and as we know that's Jacket's distorted recollection of events). In the end I leaned towards higher neuroticism considering his HLM2 self. O - I don't understand why he was typed as unorganized, his apartment is very well kept, especially when compared to Jacket's, and he seems very planned and methodical when trying to find out the truth behind 50B. He even chooses to do one of the last jobs they give him just to buy himself more time. E - Self explanatory, he's out for himself. Won't kill people if they're useful to him, but has killed innocents (such as the CEO at phonehom) for standing in his way. Also doesn't really care about doing much for others, 50 blessings is only useful to him as long as he has fun, when it stopped being fun, he stopped being interested. He can't give less of a **** about their whole plan or agenda, but also doesn't choose to report them or do anything with that information, just bails as he wants to be left alone. I - The most obvious one, as his whole section is titled "Answers". Unlike Jacket, he is curious, wants to get to the bottom of it all.
