What personality type is Surreal? Surreal is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sx/sp - 749 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, in Socionics.

Alright, I will attempt to explain the reasoning behind my voting INFP, which was in part intuitive and is therefore in some ways, a challenge for myself as well. Yet I must admit, it is quite difficult to explain a vote such as this, not least due to the intuitive aspect of the voting and it being really hard to understand if the other person does not share your intuition, but also because of the similarities that INFPs and INTPs share. Surrealism is a cultural and philosophical movement. But it is also an artistic style. A way of seeing the world not merely from an unrealistic perspective, but from the perspective of a super-reality. It is paradoxical, illogical and overly bizarre yet immediately understood by certain parts of the brain and realized by the unconscious mind. But then again, it is art. It is a grotesque manifestation of creativity and the weirdness of the artist’s mind beyond ordinary.
Biography
Surrealism is a cultural movement that started in 1917, and is best known for its visual artworks and writings. Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes, sometimes with photographic precision, creating strange creatures from everyday objects, and developing painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself. Its aim was, according to Breton, to "resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dream and reality into an absolute reality, a super-reality", or surreality. Works of surrealism feature the element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions and non sequitur; however, many surrealist artists and writers regard their work as an expression of the philosophical movement first and foremost, with the works being an artifact. Leader André Breton was explicit in his assertion that Surrealism was, above all, a revolutionary movement.
