Obligatory big 5 typing Extroversion 50% - he’s in the middle on this one. While he is generally in his own world he also sometimes seeks attention and complains out loud. Also somewhat happy go lucky at times. Neuroticism 75% - juxtaposing his apparent manliness and strength, he’s strongly emotional and pretty easily frightened and anxious, always worrying (and deep down knowing) that he’s done something wrong Conscientiousness 0% - isn’t at all competent, doesn’t really put effort into his job, way too idealistic and dreamy to care. Even George, although leaning low on conscientiousness himself, puts a lot more actual effort than him. Moreover he’s the opposite of cautious - if he had a modicum of prudence he’d not accidentally strangle everything he touches to death. Agreeableness 100% - very gentle giant that doesn’t intend to harm even a fly (but ended up accidentally killing a whole human), genuine and empathetic, to the point of being a little too naive and gullible sometimes, although this is also related to low openness Openness 25% - clearly not intellectual at all, and combined with his very high agreeableness, tends to be way too innocent and trusting for his own good. I’ll give him some points for his constant fantasizing but he always daydreams about the same things (rabbit farm). Don’t really see him engaged in other forms of aesthetics like art or music, although I guess appreciating nature like mice and rabbits could qualify in an idiosyncratic way. Also I think Lennie genuinely might be one of the few instances of Ne user but low openness.
