What personality type is Professional Gamer? Professional Gamer is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - - 539 in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
I have something interesting to say about INTPs though when it comes to gaming. I definitely see ISTPs doing really well when it comes to video games. I think that INTPs tend to play wider varieties, but for INTPs we are simply slow movers when it comes to adaptability. ISTPs can naturally do this and sometimes look like they have played a game already. Though I will say that for INTPs si is very critical. I believe that once us INTP gets fully comfortable, we can master a game and excel at it. I have seen something on this before stating how we are slow thinkers... But this allows for us to think and gives us the ability to excel in things. Once an si user gets used to something and becomes experienced, they can fully master a game with ease. Sometimes even with ne-si allows for more experimentation and spontaneously creating new ideas (Especially fighting games) I still think ISTP only because faster paced games seems like no sweat to them. Also, from my experience I am really good at video games "Smash ultimate" However, I have a tendency to not switch things up enough at times. I become to predictable when it comes to certain moves and combinations. But still keep in mind that once an INTP puts time into a game.. There is no telling how ridiculously good one can get at a video game. Sometimes I just noticed that people on this site will say "they go outside! ISTP they are athletes" Then one minute saying "they can be professional gamers they are skilled" I simply believe that saying this is flawed. Considering if an INTP puts the time in video games.. they can perfect the crafts and skills. That's what professional gamers do right? They put time and devotion into a game to get good at it. I don't think that saying an se user will always beat an INTP simply due to these reasonings. Especially one with prep.
Biography
A professional gamer plays video games full time and competes in tournaments in order to win prizes. Pro gamers are also paid by sponsors or advertisers when they play, and sometimes they're part of a team of players where they earn money as well.
