I love ISFJs, but I really can't see it. Why would this archetype be inferior Ne? aren't they known to be optimistically reckless? they tend to take foolish risks all because they want to experience joy and freedom "When an Innocent considers diving off a cliff into a river, they’re only thinking about the wind in their hair, not the rocks beneath the water." I feel like an ISFJ, since they're Ne inferior, would be more cautious about taking risks because they're more grounded in reality. I may be wrong though so please correct me if I am:) also, I feel like this archetype has more Fi than Fe. "An Innocent character abides by a moral code. It may not be the same moral code you or I follow, but the Innocent Child archetype always wants to do the right thing and expects the same from others. And they do not handle it well when they witness moral failings in another character, especially those they love." "The Child resists paradoxes. In their mind, there’s a clear line between right and wrong and every problem has an easy solution." Fi is a value function about internal values and your own moral code. "What do I believe is right or wrong?" I feel like this description fits Fi well. Fi doms tend to push their own morals onto others and expect them to follow what they think is right. This archetype can be so naive that they're willinging to trust anyone because they wear rose-tinted glasses. They try to see the best in everyone and end up getting heartbroken when they show their true colors. I interpret this as them making up a fantasy of what the person is rather than who they actually are because they so desperately want to believe everyone has a good heart. I attribute this to Fi+Ne. But again, might be wrong. Just wanted to share my thoughts.
Biography
The Innocent is the typical optimistic character. He lets himself be carried away by simple positive, hopeful and nostalgic emotions, and always craves "paradise". He just wants to be happy, feel good, and ends up trusting other people a lot. He also has a big problem with changes, and prefers to be stagnant, because he feels good where he is, or else he thinks that fate will bring something better.
