Shirley Jackson MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Shirley Jackson? Shirley Jackson is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sx/so - in Enneagram, RLOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
Why is she an INFP? I'm not saying she's not, but I don't think I see why she is voted as one. I do think she was a Fi-Te user. She seemed to want to be independent, especially from the life her mother wanted her to have. I guess do see the Ne, but only because I find some of the things she did bit... weird; like openly claiming she was a witch. But I know that not only Ne users and be weird and 'quirky'. She also was a heavy drug user and smoker, which I could see pointing to Se, but once again I know that not only Se users do that (plus I think she used Ne>Se). She did seem introverted, but that could be just because she had agoraphobia, and social introversion/extroversion don't indicate functions. I guess I would see her as an XNXP, or less likely XSFP, but I really don't know. I don't have much of an argument for Fi, so if anyone has an argument for Ti (I'm looking at you singular INTP voter) I would be open to hear it. And if anyone has an argument for any type really, I'd be happy to hear it.
