Gilbert Blythe MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Gilbert Blythe? Gilbert Blythe is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - - 379 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.

at first, i leaned towards ENTP due to his classic charm and humor. but i changed my mind. ENTJ makes much more sense for him. the stereotypes of ENTJs never show them with much charm or humor because they are always rigid and bossy. but gilbert is a great representation of a charming ENTJ love interest. compared to anne’s (INFP) dreams and gazing off to the sunset tendencies, gilbert is focused and realistic. gilbert’s ambition is shown through his dedication to become a doctor. he managed to succeed despite missing a lot of school due to his father’s ill health. he overcomes the odds to fulfill his dreams (stereotypical ENTJ) when he reveals his goal to become a doctor he says: “A fellow has to fight something all through life . . . didn’t somebody once define man as a fighting animal?” (this is so ENTJ vibes) “I want to do my share of honest, real work in the world, Anne . . . add a little to the sum of human knowledge that all the good men have been accumulating since it began.” the last quote shows how gilbert wants to be apart of the world. he wants to take an active role in the world unlike introverts. he believes that his way of contributing to the world and being a good person is to achieve a level of status (doctor) and using his privilege to help others. such a great character, i always admired him.
