What personality type is Coriolanus Snow? Coriolanus Snow is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sp - 368 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
I do think that he uses ENTJ as a mask to hide his imperfections. That being said, I don't think it's a guess that is very far off. INTJ (Ni/Te/Fi/Se) uses the exact same functions in only a very slightly different order. Te/Fi- his two most obvious functions; seen with his disregard for impractical thinking or theory and his inability to empathize with others emotions (i.e. Sejanus or LG). Most of his emotional outbursts are about his own needs, wants, and despairs. Ni- A bit trickier to detect, but you can see that he uses it frequently, most notably in cases where he predicts a certain outcome and reacts accordingly to it. He predicts that the neon snakes will be used in the Arena and drops his handkerchief into the cage. He predicts that Sejanus will continue to cause trouble for him down the line (he never explicitly says this but we all know that's what he was thinking) so he takes him out by recording his confession via jabberjay. He figures out that Lucy Gray has realized his betrayal of Sejanus while still in the lake house, and reacts by bringing his gun out with him. Se- The function he uses the least, which makes sense since he's an immature INTJ. We see him every now and then using sensory experiences to cope with stressful situations (usually food and alcohol).
Biography
President Coriolanus Snow is the main antagonist of the series, the autocratic ruler of the Capitol and all of Panem. Though seemingly laid-back, his demeanor hides a sadistic and psychopathic mind. He initially appears in The Hunger Games giving the official welcome at the opening of the Games, but he does not speak to Katniss face-to-face until Catching Fire.
