Soyeon is allways concerned with enforcing an objective formula to produce the best results possible. Her constant managing of the group to pursue goals based on a sense of objectivity is allways being shown. Also shes a lot more to the point than a lot of Ti doms are. She doesnt go in depth and in detail with specific internal reasonings as to why something makes sense or not. She just enforces a formula that she think's will work the best. "I learned that if you survive through the struggles, you will eventually make it. I’m a goal pursuer, I am competitive, and I am not easily wavered. It’s more appropriate to say that I’m the type of person who can enjoy competition shows, than to say that being on competition shows helped me. And as a leader, this personality of mine comes in handy." Her constant need to pursue goals based on an objective logical criteria (Te) is extremely evident in the way she describes her personality. Yes, anyone can be competitive but Soyeon describes herself as someone who thrives in competitive environments because of how focused she is on accomplishments more than anything else. (I will note this could also be a result of her enneagram 3) "Let's live hard.' I made a promise like this while preparing this < I Never Die > album. 'I have to work so hard that I don't really die', 'I can't prepare for this because I'm moderately free and happy'. For this album, the music video, mix, and master are not without my hands. In the last few months, we've been holding on to our cellphones all day and talking to each other about album work. So I even thought of this. ‘When this album comes out, I hope my cell phone disappears somewhere.’ (Laughs)" This is extremely Te-Fi. She *seems* to feel as if she does not produce the best results that she has a lack of identity. "I can't prepare for this because I'm moderately free and happy" is a sign of inf Fi. She cant just do things because she feels them, unless they have some sort of end result. Also, a quote that suggest Fi >> Fe "'Let's make music that I like' was the goal for this album. I dont know if it suits your taste, but I hope you enjoy it" She doesn't really bother to consider the groups taste. If she had Fe in her stack I think she would put more emphasis on the group as a whole, but she is more focused on her sense of individuality based on her own likes/ dislikes etc. Now onto her perceiving functions. I initially thought she was an ENTJ when I first got into IDLE, but I think a lot of comments here did a good job explaining why she has more Si and Ne rather than Ni and Se. She is much more focused on her subjective sensory impressions than an SeNi user would be, and her intuition definitely seems to be more focused on generating new unrelated ideas. Biography
Jeon So-yeon, better known mononymously as Soyeon, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer signed to Cube Entertainment. She gained some attention for competing in the television shows Produce 101 and Unpretty Rapstar and had a solo debut before becoming the leader, center, main rapper, and sub vocalist of the girl group (G)I-DLE in May 2018. She is the voice of Akali in virtual girl group K/DA.
