What personality type is Mingi (ATEEZ)? Mingi (ATEEZ) is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sx/so - 369 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.
Since there's a lot of debate on this page I thought I'd go back and analyse some content rather than going by memory - I could do a lot more (and am happy to if requested) but I thought I'd mention some things I've noticed to be consistent over the years. Of course these are just my interpretations and anything can be seen from multiple perspectives so feel free to change my mind! Singles September issue: "It is true that I debuted because I wanted to show people my dance and singing but I did not think too much of the responsibility that comes from being a celebrity/idol in detail. Because I wanted to live freely, this kind of responsibility was hard to deal with/accept at first but now I think of it as something positive. It means that there are many opportunities to learn and grow." - making Se-Fi decisions in the moment and not considering the long-term effects, inferior Ni (and low Ne in not seeing such possibilities) "I planned in detail when and what I'm going to do. I planned to start dancing at age 15 (korean age) and debut at age 20. And it all came true and I'm very thankful for it all the time." - long term planning for his goals, so he does use some Ni, I guess this could also indicate Te "Because I'm young, I want to gain good experience even if I lose a little bit of money. I think direct experiences can teach you good life lessons." - taking opportunities in the moment, Se and maybe Te, less worried about consequences (low Ni or even Ne) "At the end of every year, I look back on my mistakes. Even if there's something that troubles my mind, I don't regret it. I just self-reflect and think to myself, "Don't ever do it again"" - lack of Si, not necessarily inferior but just something he doesn't value using, particularly in not reflecting on things after they happen and having to consciously get himself into the state of having to reflect, argument for sensory and particularly Se in terms of living in the moment Mingi vlog: pretty much everything he speaks about except one thing (lyrics) is talking about the sensory world and his feelings about them, his reflection on coke has more to do with Fi than it does with Si being part of his stack imo - potential argument for Se and for Fi ^same goes for pretty much any of their vlogs, another one with him on his own is an album unboxing and again he's mentioning what he can see in front of him - talking about what is there rather than what isn't, argument for Se and some Fi was present there too General notes aka things that come up so much I couldn't be bothered to reference everything sorry: ● very often makes comments about how the way he perceives himself is more important to him than others' perceptions of him and wants this for other people - Fi-Te ●Also often mentions his goals and how he needs to focus on his goals (and his self-image often seems to tie into this too) - depending on how you interpret it, this could account for Ni, enneagram 3 / 4 and potentially some Fi with his self image ●Even looking at what's been collated here, it's pretty clear that his manner of speech is very concrete, to the point and focused on the external world - he very rarely makes references to abstract concepts or speaks in a way that denotes intuitive thought patterns. I'm not quite sure how to word it but it seems pretty evident that his thought processes are focused on the sensory ●His sense of humour is very Se (or at least very sensory) - he's always focused on the physical experience e.g. how loud it is, how silly and crazy something is, how cute something looks, how fun something is to be physically experiencing and to be experienced as though he's putting on a performance, I don't think I've once noticed his humour needing a particular meaning or reference, he's not one to make his humour clever or witty nor reliant on language, he can appreciate it in others but he just wants to have a good time lol. For the Ne voters, comparing this to Yunho and Yeosang shows a stark contrast ●Always wanting to develop and show his style in his own way, particularly through fashion and then wanting to broadcast this to the public as part of his own image that he's proud of - this says Fi to me I'm pretty set on ESFP being the most convincing typing for now, the only other type I would consider is probably ISFP since the order of Ni and Te isn't exactly clear but I am more convinced by inferior Ni and Se dom

Song Mingi (송민기; born August 9, 1999), better known mononymously as Mingi, is a South Korean rapper-songwriter under KQ Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group ATEEZ. In 2017, he became a contestant on JTBC's reality survival show MIXNINE. He was eliminated in episode 7 after ranking 113th place.
