“THIS DESECRATOR MUST PAY FOR HIS ACTIONS!!!” MBTI: Te-Si-Ne-Fi —> Te-Fi: Early on in Season 2, it was demonstrated that Dreadwing was dedicated to carrying out his tasks and agendas with efficiency and pragmatism, especially in the mission to try to execute Airachnid in “Crossfire” when Dreadwing tried to keep Breakdown focused on the objective goal, thus having demonstrated a predominant sense of FACTUAL REASONING; Dreadwing’s possible repression of more individualistic feelings came back to sabotage him in the form of explosive sensitive topics, such as with the loss of Skyquake or his more, uh, “unstable” (using that term lightly) approach to his loyalty to Megatron as compared to much more firmly by-the-book Soundwave (superior), thus a disconnection from PERSONAL SENTIMENT. —> Te-Si: In “Triangulation” - during his mission to secure an Iacon Relic located in Antarctica - Dreadwing had agreed to Optimus Prime’s judgment call that it was necessary to make a compromise in the form of an alliance to tackle the mutual threat of Starscream wielding the Apex Armor as it would logically ensure Dreadwing’s own survival, thus his predominant sense of FACTUAL REASONING having been GUIDED by PRACTICAL STABILITY; I like to think that Dreadwing is a good case as to prove that Si, like *all* Ji functions - NOT just Fi - is defined (fluid parameters of definition, not arbitrarily categorized) by a sense of individualism, his more unresolved internalized impression of the loss of Skyquake having clouded the objectivity of dominant Te, thus potential STRINGENT STABILITY. —> Te-Ne: Again, to compare to Soundwave - with a possible cognitive stack of Si-Te-Fi-Ne - Dreadwing possessed a bit more of an “unwieldy” sense of commitment to Megatron and the Decepticons’ whereas Soundwave was more stabilized and fixated— When Dreadwing had learned that Starscream had “DISGRACED” Skyquake’s honorable death in battle, chances are that his weaker sense of ABSTRACT POSSIBILITY was provoked in the form of enraged skepticism about others forms of dishonor that the Decepticon cause was rife with; otherwise though, I felt that Dreadwing demonstrated a more balanced sense of ABSTRACT POSSIBILITY in the context of his aptitude for battlefield tactics, having possessed an extensive arsenal to be prepared for different situations.
