I think a lot of his character has been mythologised and obscured. He wasn’t this puritan crusader that he’s viewed as, considered tolerant at the time and often put politics before faith, the Irish campaign has been argued to be his attempt at consolidating power. Other issues I have with SX1 is he has been described as Hypomanic and depressive. SX1 being the most passionate e1 can be argued to be why he is like this, I understand why he was typed VEFL. But yeah for enneagram I suppose SX1 is most fitting, e8 is brainlet, “The execution of the King in 1649 satisfied Cromwell’s desires but failed to give him peace of mind and very noticeably assumed the character of ruthless fanaticism. ” SX1 for now but i think his fanaticism is very exxagerated

Oliver Cromwell (25 April 1599 – 3 September 1658) was an English military and political leader. He served as Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland, and Ireland from 1653 until his death, acting simultaneously as head of state and head of government of the new republic.
