Biography
The Last Great Mughal Sultan who unified India under his rule which lasted 49 years . He was the son of Sultan Shah Jahan who famously commissioned the construction of the Taj Mahal as a tomb for his deceased wife. In contrast Sultan Alamgir commissioned a compendium of Islamic Law in accordance with the Hanafi school of jurisprudence.
