𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝑬𝑺𝑻𝑷 While I used to think that Chaewon was an ISFP in the past, now I've come to realize that she is actually most likely the ESTP type. Here is my explanation as to why I believe so: 𝑫𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒆: "I don’t think I ever really thought about why I do what I do, what I was thinking about or how I was feeling before any of this. I’m the kind of person who lives in the moment and accepts everything for what it is." ^This shows Chaewon's Se view of the world. Just seeing the object for what it is without any preconceptions or subjectivity "I’m a pretty quick study and adapt easily. It doesn’t do any good debating over something you have to get done anyway, so I just do it. I’m the type of person who gets used to things as they go rather than trying to adjust fully before getting started." ^Se adaptability to current circumstances without worrying about the hidden implications (inf Ni) "So, what is the end goal? Is there even an end? I don’t think there is, actually. I think I’ll keep having new goals. I think that’s the kind of person I am. Still, even though things like improvement and effort are good and all, I think I don’t want to push myself excessively. I’d rather enjoy myself and the world around me a little instead." ^This is a great quote that demonstrates Chaewon Dominant Se and Inferior Ni. Her love of tangible reality makes it so that having long term end goals seem pointless. "We never played a festival or other event while promoting, so I was really eager to do a show in front of a general audience. The energy levels were really intense, for one thing. That was before our comeback and I felt energized from it. The other members said they didn’t know what to say on stage, so I think Kkura and I kind of led them. It was my first time performing for that many people so close up, so I was excited and nervous at the same time. But the rest of them were just nervous, so I remember I said to them, “It’s a festival—let’s just have fun out there.” "Because, no matter what you choose, all that matters is what you make of it. I think I made the most of it." No matter what I was going through or what people were saying, I kept on looking straight ahead and paved my own path." ^While her Ti isn’t as clear compared to her Se and Fe (mainly because Ti is an introverted function making it more difficult to pinpoint). I think these quotes show her Ti in the sense that she uses her own subjective idea of what makes sense in order to move forward and improve. 𝑻𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑭𝒆: "I’m a leader now, so I don’t think I should let people see when I’m having a hard time. I feel like it’s my responsibility to make sure I never get worn down." "I think you’re right. As for ISTP voters (which I'm aware mostly came from 16 personalities) she doesn't struggle enough with Fe in order for her to be a Ti dom.
Biography
Kim Chaewon (김채원) is a South Korean singer and actress. She is known for finishing 10th in Mnet's girl group survival show Produce 48 and debuting with IZ*ONE in 2018. She was a trainee under Source Music following IZ*ONE's disbandment in April 2021. She is currently in the band LE SSERAFIM. She also is a former Woolim Entertainment trainee.
