Revision to my previous reply, after reading Ciconia When They Cry, clearly he is an Fe-Ti user with a big emphasis on Fe. I think he is INFJ. If you read the work, you will see what I mean. Plus thinking back there was a big theme of harmony, working together, and general happiness *for everyone* in his character works. I'm not saying that is completely related to Fe, as it could also be a part of Fi for sure, but it's a pretty big ideal of Fe to want a happy ending for everyone. I could go further about how I think Umineko actually had a "happy ending" but... yeah. Read some of his other works like Iwaihime. He really likes to give everyone who has been bad a chance at redemption and works hard to give people happy endings. (This is excepting the clearly evil guys, who often are also one-dimensionally evil... again one way Fe views things.)

Ryukishi07 (竜騎士07 Ryūkishi Rei-Na, born November 19, 1973) is the pen name of a Japanese man originally from Chiba Prefecture, and the original creator for the idea of the visual novel series Higurashi When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry. He is the representative member of the group 07th Expansion. His pen name originates from the Final Fantasy series, "Ryūkishi" being the Japanese term for "Dragoon", and "07" goroawase for the name of Final Fantasy V character "Lenna".
