I think some people here stuggle to differentiate Fe, from healthy Fi. She clearly has the later one. All her life centers around her personal beliefs and values. She doesn‘ allow herself to be influenced by others opinions on her and doesn‘t feel to have to fit in with others. Instead she confidently embraces her own unique identity, dressing herself in a way others will find bizzare, while remaining confident in it. She does‘t need to please anyone and gives a **** on the opinions of others. While she at first seems religious and modest she is secretly and quietly rebellious telling her father that he has nothing to say in her own decisions and whom she meets and talks to. She is quite blunt with this and doesn‘t try to be diplomatic, since it is her identity and she has to decide it for herself. Even a healthy Fe User would likely act differently, since they are naturally inclined to be very diplomatic. A Fe user would also be less individualistic than her and would be more willing to adept to the students around her. I know that there is this stereotype that mainly Si users tend to be religious and certainly this is partly true, but not always. Jamies faith isn‘t about tradition or clear strutures, but deeply personal and individualistic. She has her own standing on religious matters and her bible is as later revealed more of personal value to her, because it is connected to her mother. I really can‘t see her as a Fe user. Yes she was kind, sweet and compassipnate, but Fi users are offen like that too, there are frankly many negative stereotypes about this function, but most are not true. Healthy and even average Fi doms are rarely edgy or overly selfish, but unhealthy ones are. Jamie clearly has strong Fi. It is her quiet indifference to the opinions of others, her strong personal belief system and her awareness of her own feelings and love to Lyndon that makes her stand out, but also her individualistic personality and status as an outsider in the beginning. Her Ne is also very clear I found. She is deeply idealistic and romantic and immidiatly recognises that their is a potential for good in Lyndon. She also is very focused on the future and has many different dreams of what she wants to do before she dies, like marrying for example. Furthermore she has a somewhat dreamy vibe around her and is at times oblivious to what is going on around her, which is very unlikely for a Si Dom. She also has Si I believe, but it isn‘t dominant and she definitely hasn‘t as Fe. It maybe her 9w1 enneagram which makes her look this way.
