(ELFV over ELVF: Newt doesn’t possess any 3V + 4F traits.) Love him. I like how he’s actually a more realistic portrayal of a healthy (functions-wise) INFP. He’s not whining and wallowing in his Fi 24/7 (like other medias portray INFPs to be) but we also get to see his quick-witted creativity and Ne-Si axis in action. He’s also incredibly sensitive, caring and empathetic. It’s nice to see a male protagonist like this. edit, may 16th: i especially liked his story because it was different than the Harry Potter timelines: he wasn’t a student who was still learning how to wield magic Newt’s already a grown wizard who’s confident in his wizarding skills even if he’s not always confident in dealing with the rest of the world (he’s shy, quiet), his story’s more about him accomplishing his dream of writing a book about magical creatures but suddenly gets dragged into something bigger and forced to be a hero. Some kinda reluctant hero type
