Personality

What personality type is Brett Yang (TwoSetViolin)? Brett Yang (TwoSetViolin) is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/sx - 649 in Enneagram, in Big 5, LII in Socionics.

He is obviously an ENFP even in the video of "Turning Classical Music into Paintings" his way of expressing his Ne-Fi compare to Eddie (who is an INTP) Brett Brett went straight into expression his main idea. It looks bit chaotic but quite clear. He seemed to draw on a whim, just following the idea in his head. His approach is more intuitive and based on emotions. He painted what the music made him feel but he also took into consideration Dvorak’s history (having a better life in the US but being homesick). His painting shows that duality, using a Day/Night mood. On the left side (Day), he too used green and blue but with more intense hues so both colours contrast (without clashing), delimitating the sky from the rest. The music notes coming from the bottom of the sea and rising towards the sky give a poetic, gentle and uplifting feeling. The halo/aura also has this duality. Left side, bright, positive, happy with white rays in the blue sky. Right side is more like a sun eclipse sending red rays into the night. The right side of his painting (Night) is darker, more tormented but also passionate and powerful, accentuated by his choice of colour: black and red. It also has more texture due to the multiple layers of paint, giving more intensity and vibrance. On the other hand Eddy Eddy started from building overall structure, organise, and then went into detail. He can draw and has an understanding of depth, perspective and composition. This helped his painting a lot. His approach is more methodical and structured (he looked for pictures to help him visualise his idea). He tried to express what Dvorak was feeling and went for a poetic, nostalgic vibe. His style and choice of colours are very “Impressionistic”. He stuck to two main colours: blue and green (and a bit of yellow), which was a smart choice. In that type of painting, less is more. His green has a lot of blue in it so both colours blend naturally, giving a feeling of calm, harmony and serenity. But he created movement with the hills and “waves” in the river, which gives life to his painting To sum up, Eddy has always come across as the calm, stable personality. When he does things, it's usually with one clear goal and works out one plan towards that goal. A very convergent person. Brett is the more intense personality. Pretty extreme in nature. He doesn't just go with one idea. He usually have a couple of ideas in mind and tries to put all the ideas into one plan and sees how things will turn out. A very divergent person. These two can't be more polar opposites, INTP and ENFP duo.
