I used to believe that he was an SX9, but I would say that 2D focuses more on establishing positive relations with others to ensure his survival and disguising his fear behind a soft and approachable persona (SP6) more so than he focuses on merging and becoming "one" with others in order to fill a gap in his lack of self identity (SX9).
