What personality type is Goombella? Goombella is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 738 in Enneagram, in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
Being a know-it-all on lots of little random details of how things work with everyone, everywhere, Goombella is a wonderful showcase of an adventurous NeTi 7. I believe that her standing up for herself during the goomba fight near the beginning of the game was a key introduction to her character which showed tert Fe, AKA the ability for her to spot their weak spots and make fun of them to settle the score. she then continues to do this more literally with her ability Tattle, to read up on enemies and discover their weak spots while also potentially poking fun at their characters / design also shows some level of Fe. As for 7w6 over 7w8, she is more interested in immediately connecting with Mario (with a kiss on the cheek even) and being loyal to him from beginning to end as Mario's partner than asserting herself as an independent adventurer. compare and contrast with yoshi, who comes across more as a 'im doing my own thing, but I want to join you on your adventure because it will be fun' who is definitely an ESTP 7w8.
Biography
Like in the first game, Mario's first partner is an intellectual Goomba who provides information about the world (and enemies). This time around, it's a college-aged gal named Goombella. Although she sounds like a bit of a Valley Girl, she's sharp as a tack.
