Sort of wishing I could've been born during her time...just so I could be friends with her T . T. I bet she would love this place. 😁 Not trying to self insert or anything, but as someone that shares the same type with her and has experienced a similar sense of alienation/loneliness, I can confirm when the way you think/see the world differs from the majority of most people around you, it definetely isn't easy and does get to be lonely. Craving a deep connection/a strong desire to finally meet someone that gets where you're coming from (and has the same capacity for depth/meaning in areas most people would overlook), but simultaneously feeling like you fail at it and can never do it adequately. Also being ashamed of what makes you different/seeing it as a liability, so distancing yourself more from others as a result >> this definetely points straight to neglected Fe...that and the ironic push and pull between dom sp/sx instincts (you crave connections with others, but still need space from others, sometimes overdoing sp to the point of distancing yourself from others and wondering why you're lonely as a result...interestingly I even share the same exact instinctual stack with her too lol). Also, most Fi doms I know (or Fi users in general, no matter where the function is in the stack), tend to not feel bothered by how much/little they relate to others, generally have the opposite response to their differences and don't see them in a negative light (they tend to take more pride in them, and generally build a lot of their identity off of them). A common thing I've noticed with Ni doms too -- they tend to convey their insights/cultivate connections best through some form of art or writing especially (like in her case). Some of our insights/thought processes are difficult to explain with just words alone cohesively (also because we tend to see things from more abstract perspectives). Writing personally helps me reign in all of my thoughts and communicate them better (similarly to other Ni artists/writers I've seen, like Emily with her poems). Ne users can be just as innovative/abstract too, but Ni by contrast tends to focus on concepts that when you piece them together, connotate very specific, holistic themes (like Emily's use of the color white in specific concepts/imagery; her obsession with death; her alienation from others). Ne's concepts tend to be more transcontextual and effortlessly incorporate things that seemingly have no relation to each other. They seem strange together, but Ne manages to generate ideas from these combinations. I also wonder if her desire to understand the nature of death and her faith that it was the beginning of a new life suggested a sense of disatisfaction/ sorrow she felt in her lifetime...
