Typing him as Se dominant soley for appreciating the world around him and loving nature seems like quite a shallow understanding of Se to me. Sure Franics appreciated the world around him, but not necessarily just for what it was, but based on the spiritual meaning he saw in it, as well as the connections, he saw to his religion and values. This sort of nature romanticism is quite in line with Fi/Ne function wise.
