Terry Silver MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Terry Silver? Terry Silver is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sx/so - 836 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

Terry Silver is consistently shown to value prestige, needing to be seen as competent, needing to represent a successful and appealing dojo. It’s important for his image and his brand. He’s extremely vain, obsessed with his achievements, his goals, and using unethical means to attain success. He adjusts himself to align with social standards, so his success is objectively measured, but when he receives criticism or feels slighted, this perfect image can be shattered and he can lash out as a result. Why is Terry Silver LIE? Terry values efficiency, he doesn’t care about legacy as much as the other characters, instead he cares more about utility. He focuses on what he can utilise people for, how he can manipulate people, schemes/tricks he can pull in order to advance himself in pursuit of his goals. He struggles with his attachments, his personal sentiments, etc. as shown as his awkward and strained relationship with Kreese. He doesn’t care for principles, competing in the physical realm, etc. as much as he cares about manipulating, scheming and putting his plans into motion.

Biography

Terrance Silver was Kreese's Green Beret squadmate during their time in the Vietnam War and longtime business partner who was Daniel LaRusso's second sensei (or rather tormentor) in the events of The Karate Kid Part III. After his champion and mercenary, Mike Barnes loses the 1985 All-Valley, Silver seemingly steps away from karate for good.
