Personality

What personality type is Claude Debussy? Claude Debussy is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sx/so - 946 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.

A major distinction that separates Debussy from earlier composers is that his pieces tend to be much less predictable structurally, and listening to his stuff, it feels like he just takes inspiration from whatever he finds aesthetically appealing at the moment (Fi-Se), usually something relating to nature or the environment he lives in (seen in titles like "The Girl With the Flaxen Hair"). A lot of flourishes and transitions in his pieces seem improvised and thought of on the spot, which definitely fits with aux Se. However, I still see some sort of Ni since a lot of his pieces still tend to have some vague theme/overall pattern that characterizes them, in which throughout the piece, the one or two "central theme(s)" are formulated in many different ways and styles, giving his pieces a lot of variety nonetheless (Se). A great example of this is Jardin Sous La Pluie ("Gardens in the Rain"), which is probably my favorite Debussy piece.
