People aren't voting ESTJ because they hate her. As someone else stated, Eva's character development is all about developing her Fi. While she was with Tenma, she was pragmatic in securing her status. In fact, Another Monster suggests that she played a major role in planning Tenma's life. Really, everything about her chapter in Another Monster screams Te-Fi: — Forgive me for being so direct, but did you love Dr. Tenma? "My father was a very politically-minded man, but he wasn't so despotic that he would force me to marry someone if I said 'nicht.' I chose a man who would make me happy. And that was Kenzo... Did I love him? Yes, I did." — Then why such a one-sided nullification of your engagement? "I told you. My father needed a right-hand man he could trust, and I wanted to be happy. Kenzo's actions failed both of these conditions. There was nothing else to be done." — Do you think Tenma loved you? "He would do anything I told him to do. Even after he refused to work on the mayor and I called it off, he still wanted to get married. He was so indecisive about anything other than his work as a doctor. He needed a woman like me who could make all the decisions." Eva broke off the engagement because Tenma was no longer useful to her father and by extension, no longer useful to her. But deep down, she really did love Tenma. She ignored those feelings and as a result, she ruined her relationship. Drinking was a maladaptive coping mechanism to avoid confronting her pain. Facing that pain and working through it is what leads to her recovery. To those who are saying that she's Fi aux, she's only doing what she wants because alcoholism is messing with her brain. When she gets back on her feet, she's no longer acting chaotically. Also, here's something that hints at her Si: "Eva Heinemann looked at her watch, and said she needed to go. She apparently lives alone in an apartment in the high-class part of town across the Rhine. I've got to go back to work, she said. I've hardly cooked a meal in my life, but I'm a kitchen coordinator for the rich and famous... And I don't have any talent for utilizing others, so I'll probably quit soon, she laughed." She's uneasy about her new career as a kitchen coordinator because it's outside of her comfort zone. And while she says that she has no talent for utilizing others (which seems contrary to Te), you have to keep in mind that she may not have discovered that talent yet. Just because you have a dominant function doesn't mean that you're aware of the strengths it grants you, especially if you've spent a good chunk of your adult life being a hot, drunken mess. Eva Heinemann (エヴァ・ハイネマン, Evua Haineman) is the daughter of Udo Heinemann and the fiancée of Kenzo Tenma.
