Sorry I'm just going to come out and say this without bothering to sugarcoat: he is not "Ne" at all, no matter what angle you look at his character. It doesn't matter that Lin Manuel Miranda (A supposed ENFP) is playing him. None of that cognitive preference will translate through as long as he's playing a completely different character. He's consistently characterised as a dogmatic trail-blazer (Ni) with an eye for revolution and achievement (Te). I do not see any instance where he actively seeks out a multitude of possibilities. Like, not at all. I recall Burr literally describing him to have a "non-stop", singular drive to achieve. And I don't see the strong Fi everyone else is saying he has. It's there, but not prominent. His judgement is prioritised within external achievements (showcased by literally all of the pursuits in his career). Not once has he had any bout of introspection, trying to look for moral convictions within himself. His approach was more "The system is objectively bad because it impedes on individual freedom, so I will try to overthrow it in one dogmatic pursuit" [Te/Ni] with some emphasis on Fi [focus on individuality], which is how xNTJs usually operate. "I abhor how individual freedom is being trampled upon. What are the various ways I can share my revolutionary ideologies in a way that connects with people sentimentally" [What I interpret to be the "ENFP" route of leading a revolution. Room for improvement but my point is that Ne and Fi has to be the centrepiece no matter what. You do not see that with Hamilton] I think Hamilton here is actually INTJ, but because ENTJ is in the lead I'll vote for that. Honestly don't see ENxP at all, I'm shocked. I only just watched Hamilton last night and thought the answer was so obvious. And I mean hello? the character was modelled, attitude and viewpoint and all, after the real dude, who is an ENTJ himself.
