What personality type is Salvador Dalí? Salvador Dalí is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/so - 478 in Enneagram, SLUEI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
So something that I think is confusing people is that people are confusing being nice with being a feeler and being selfish with being a thinker but that's not necessarily true. First off any function or type can be selfish it doesn't matter if your an ENFP, ENTP, INTP, ESFJ, or whatever. Being selfish or kind is more of a person trait rather than a cognitive function or MBTI trait. When we are looking at Ti vs Fi the thing we're trying to figure out is if someone is operating off their internal logic or their internal feelings and values. Now internal feelings doesn't mean being nice or kind , it just means doing what your feelings are telling you to do. So when we apply this to Salvador Dali we can see that this is almost what he did all the times. Most of the time what he did was based on his own random whims and whatever he felt was right at the moment. As for logic... did he even really have any consistent logic? logic didn't seem to be something he was focused on or cared for at all. Even in his work there were barley any logic behind it, it was kinda just his symbolizations of things that were personally important to him like sexualized fears of father figures and the anxiousness over the passing of time. Actually a good way to see how he prefers Fi to Ti is to look at the table he made to evaluate other painters. Now the way a Ti user is going to go about this is to be completely self removed and only focus on things that you can logically point at and look at. However if you look at how Dali made his some of the categories in there were completely influenced by his personal values and feelings. For example he had categories in there such as "originality", "mystery", "inspiration", and probably the most Fi one out of them all "authenticity" lol. This guy was pure Fi.
