Maybe there are some quotes or moments I'm forgetting about, but I just can't see type 5 for Lloyd. Type 5 has anxieties about their skills and knowledge not being enough, so they seek to learn and observe as much as possible to quell those anxieties. I just don't remember Lloyd having any analysis paralysis, or having any of the typical type five withdrawing to study a situation. There are only two things 5ish about Lloyd. One is his tendency to keep certain information secret, which is a hallmark of Sx 5. The second is that some of his social uncouthness fits the 5w6 archetype. Meanwhile, Type 7 has anxieties that their lives will end up being boring or unfulfilling, so they seek new an unusual experiences for stimulation to try to quell those anxieties. In everything Lloyd does it seems like he's just trying to amuse himself. Afterall, as Cecile said, "He's the prodigal son of nobles. He can't separate work from play." Plenty of his quotes strike me as more 7ish. "She made the beams converge, but I wanted to be the one to perfect that system." Here we see a fear of missing out. He also is just generally being a goofball in most situations, like in season 2 when he says, "I'm working directly under little Charlie now." Referring, of course, to the emperor. He's seems more at home toying with his machines, and with other people.
