What personality type is Claire Underwood? Claire Underwood is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - 351 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
I haven't seen the last season but I think she was an INTJ 3w4 until that. Te>Fe because she is constantly trying to shape the world objectively according to her goals and wants. She is not really seeking power/control through her ability to play the social game, but through attaining authoritative positions that give her the power to exercise her will without any opposition. I just see the Underwoods as a Te-powerhouse of non-stop attaining goals. We rarely see them discuss WHY they want certain things in life. It is always so emotionally black & white. If you want it, you get it. They treat each other as black boxes and never ask unpractical questions that might invalidate their goals or overall life direction. I think an INFJ Claire would have relied less on objective metrics/positions of success and more on other people and her own subjective model of how the world works. I get she is manipulative, but I always see it an Fi-trickster way. She just acts out a fake persona, with a fake voice and a fake smile. The persona is pretty constant throughout season 1 - season 5 and she does not really adapt it to her listener. She just acts extremely polite to not reveal her intentions.
