can’t believe there are no arguments on this page, this man is a social 6 through and through. legato’s entire character revolves around following knives, worshipping him, and using his ideology for himself. where he failed as a captive to kill his captors and get out, knives did it for him in one go, leaving knives as the potential authority figure legato looked up to. “Social Sixes are good at following and complying with the norms and they want everyone else to comply too. If others do not, they will be critical of them. And if those who do not comply are punished, great. If they are asked to lead and command and in an unhealthy manifestation of the type, they can be somewhat tyrannical. They may defend the ideology of the group to death. They can be cold and calculating. They cut off their more instinctive aspects due to the fear that they’ll enter a relationship that will create a bond requiring their soft and tender side to be shown. (sexual) to put it very simply, the difference between 1 and 6 is clear enough when you compare legato and knives. knives knows what he wants and what he wants to do to get it. the 1 trusts no one else and is sure of only himself and his logic. in contrast, legato doesn’t know what he wants outside of knives, and relies on knives to build his life. unlike knives, legato is insecure and only becomes secure because he can depend on knives to give him a meaning, a purpose, a goal to serve until the end, which is why he appears so confident. he tends to copy knives and his mannerisms and speech, attitudes and views towards the world, because he is unsure of his own. TLDR; legato is a 6, specifically social 6. his instinctual variants are most likely so/sx, and trityoe 641. 4 fix: legato’s 4 becomes obvious in how alienated he is from humanity, as well as his outbursts of emotion and his belief that he is singularly special to knives, and different from everyone else due to this. his relation to vash, seeing them in similar positions, as having no reason to live and zero sense of self worth, yet disregarding them both as unspecial and unworthy. i hope we can fix this page for sure, especially as trigaze comes out today :)
