Definitely a sx6. Instead of actively feeling fearful like a sp6, he believes that the best defense is a good offense. His anxiety is allayed by skill and readiness in the face of a possible attack. "Sx's are often bold and even fierce. They go against danger assertively, and even aggressively, as a way of denying and coping with their (often unconscious) fear." Carl definitely uses that way of coping with fear and acts bold in order to survive in dangerous environment. Ex. in the prison, when he made allies to avoid trouble, and later, even 'friends'. He is always ready for various situations, but not in a sp way, but an sx way.
