What personality type is Stanley Kubrick? Stanley Kubrick is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/sx - 514 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.
I had a whole argument typed up for ISTP, but then I revisited his Wikipedia pages for some research and now I'm not so sure. Ni-Se seems obvious (sorry, INTP voters) but his judging axis is more difficult. The Wikipedia page about his religious and political views sort of screams Fi-Te to me (frequent self-contradiction and ambiguity, embrace of democratic institutions and dislike of tyranny despite having a very jaded, cynical view of human nature, a seeming fondness for making provocative declarations that dramatically express subjective impressions rather than carefully describing ideas in a detached way) but it's hardly irrefutable evidence. I think the main question here would be whether his general work process was more Ti or Te, and I'm leaning somewhat toward the former, but I can't quite square that with the rest of his personality.
