Biography
Sir Lancelot is a Knight of the Round Table. He is one of the first to discover Merlin's magic and is known to be in love with Guinevere. Many, including Arthur Pendragon, regard him as the noblest of Camelot's Knights, especially after he sacrifices himself on the Isle of the Blessed. Lancelot is a selfless and honourable man with a very strong sense of morality. He dislikes lying, stating on one occasion that it is against everything that a knight stands for, and insists on taking responsibility for his actions when he is caught lying about his social class in order to qualify for knighthood. He also dislikes taking credit for things that he hasn't done, as evidenced by his refusal to accept any commendation for killing the Griffin when he knows that Merlin is truly responsible.
